End of Grade Testing
- EOG Testing: All students received the TJMS EOG Testing Calendar this week. This calendar should be utilized to the identify the dates your child will have their end of grade and final exams. Please review this with your child and make any necessary adjustments to any appointments that conflict with these dates.
- Proctors Needed! We are in need of volunteers for proctoring for the end of grade tests. We gladly welcome parents, grandparents, older siblings, etc. to proctor. Proctors must be 18 or older. Proctoring involves assisting the teacher and monitoring students during the test session. Proctors are needed from approximately 7:15 - 11am daily, May 26th, June 2nd-5th, and June 9th. - Sports Banquet: The Sports Banquet is Thursday, May 28 at 5:30pm at Mt. Tabor UMC. $10 Adults/$5 Athletes and children. Tickets are on sale through Friday, May 22.
- Athletes in Action Pictures Needed: The banquet committee is asking parents to send in pictures of TJMS athletes in action. Pictures need to be in digital JPEG format on a flash drive or disk. Please label with students name and phone number if you want the flash drive or disk back.
- Talent Show: Friday, May 29th at 6:30pm in TJMS Auditorium

- Free Sports Physicals: Physicals will be done at CompRehab Plaza at 131 Miller Street on Saturday, May 30th from 8am - 12:30pm. You must bring a WSFCS Physical Form with you. Forms are available in the front office or under the Athletics tab on the TJMS website.

High School Opportunities
2015 Reagan high School Engineering Summer Camp
- Deadline to Register: May 31, 2015
- Cost: $225 Please mail registration form (available in TJMS Office) and payment (made payable to Ryan Crater) to 1237 Three Oaks Road, Hamptonville, NC 27020
- Camp Dates: July 13-16, 2015 from 9a-4p

- Purpose: to get students excited about a career in engineering through hands-on interactive projects that are rigorous and stimulating. Some areas of study include: mechanical, marine/ocean, aerospace, electrical, construction, chemical, and environmental/biotechnology. There are only 30 spots available.
- Summer Workouts: Rising Freshman who will attend Mt. Tabor and are interested in trying out for the Boys Soccer team, summer workouts begin Monday, June 8th. Summer workouts will be Mon/Wed/Thurs from 5:30-7pm (no summer workouts week of June 29th). Tryouts are Monday, August 3rd - Friday, August 7th from 6am-6pm daily.
- UNC-G Team Camp: July 25th - 28th. Open to all prospective Mt Tabor Boys' Soccer Players.
- Important Dates: Saturday, August 8th - 2nd Annual Spartan Scrimmages; Monday, August 17th - Season Opening Game at the Forsyth Cup; September 4th-7th (Labor Day Weekend) - Wilmington Trip.

- Wednesday Team Packs: Every Wednesday students will bring home a Wednesday Team Pack that will contain all sorts of important information. Please review the information found in the team pack and reach out to TJMS or your child's teacher if you have any questions.

- Car Rider Line:
Please be patient while waiting in the car rider lines. In order to help
with traffic flow there are now two lines for dropping off students. To
ensure the safety of the students, faculty, staff and other drivers,
please pull forward as far as you are directed by a member of our staff
and watch closely for students crossing in front of cars.

- Activity Bus: The last day the activity bus will run is Thursday, May 28th.

- Student Fees: 6th grade: $3:50; 7th and 8th grade: $4.50; PE Uniform for 7th and 8th grade: $14.00. School fees can be paid by cash or checks (made payable to TJMS).
