Do you know any 5th grade students who may be attending or interested in attending TJMS? Rising 6th grade Open House is Thursday, January 19 from 5:30 - 7:30pm.

Middle School Choice Timeline

If you are interested in attending a school different than your residential school, you must apply during this timeline. Choice begins on Monday, February 20 and ends on Friday, March 3.

High School Choice Timeline

If you are interested in attending a high school different from your assigned residential high school you must apply during the choice period. This begins February 13 and ends on February 24. Applications are available on the WSFCS website under Student Assignment beginning February 13.

Reagan HS will hold their annual Raider Reveal on January 30, 6:30-8:30. Raider Reveal is an open house event for anyone interested in attending Reagan HS next year. With the choice transfer window coming up in February, the Raiders would like to showcase their school and afford prospective students and their parents the opportunity to learn more about their school. This event will provide information about course offerings and the registration process, as well as the chance to see our athletic programs, arts offerings and potential clubs.

Are you attending Mt. Tabor High School next year? The Spartan Showcase will be Monday, January 30 at 6:30pm in the auditorium.

Are you attending West Forsyth High School next year? West Forsyth's Explore the Possibilities is scheduled for Thursday, January 26th at 6pm in the Anderson Auditorium.

Are you interested in attending the Early College of Forsyth? Applications are due by February 15. Visit the ECF website for more information. Upcoming Informational Sessions: January 10 at 4pm, January 12 at 4pm and January 17 at 4pm. Ardmore Hall (2nd floor), room 216. Informational Sessions are limited to 30 people per session. Please RSVP (336)757-3290 to reserve your spot.

Are you interested in attending one of the magnet high schools? The application period for magnet high schools is: January 1-January 23. Applications are available on the WSFCS website under Student Assignment.

   Winter Weather Schedule Changes

When there is a change in the school schedule due to winter weather, school system closings or delays will be announced multiple ways 6am that day. Announcement options include:

Mark your calendar for the 8th grade dance: Friday, March 17, 7-9. Only TJMS students are able to attend.

Reminder to tryout for any sports programs at TJMS you must have a current physical, concussion form and proof of insurance on file.
