We have some very exciting news to share! Mr. Schnably, one of our 8th grade Science teachers, and his students are national finalists in the Solve for Tomorrow competition sponsored by Samsung. His class has already been recognized by Samsung as the North Carolina winner, and he is now one of 10 state finalists in the running to be named the national winner! 

 In order to win, their project has to receive the MOST likes on Facebook. That is where your help comes in. Please click on the link below and scroll down to videos and vote TJMS. You can vote once daily until the contest ends.

2018-2019 Board Letter of Interest - Due April, 30 2018 

Thomas Jefferson Middle School PTA is currently accepting nominations for its 2018-2019 Board Officer and Committee Chairs. If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else please email or complete the application. The application can be printed from the PTA page on the TJMS website.

 Note: You must be a member in good standing of the PTA to be an eligible candidate. 

Please return applications to the PTA Nominating Committee via email (andreabrueske@hotmail.com) or to the school office in a sealed envelope marked PTA Nominating Committee. Phone interviews will be scheduled for all interested officer applicants (Treasurer). 

Elections will take place at the General PTA Meeting on May 3, 2018. We will also accept nominations from the floor during the General Membership Election Meeting.
