Ice Cream Social
TJMS
families are invited to PTA community night and Ice Cream Social this week on
Thursday, Sept. 13 from 6-7:30pm. Come join us and learn more about the PTA,
meet the board members and get more information on committees, sign up to be a
PTA member and buy some spirit wear. You will have the opportunity to meet with
Mr. O’Neal, Ms. Wilson Moore and Mr. Bryant. Teachers will be serving up ice
cream and toppings and Mr. Shoulda will be performing music for us. And There
will be drawings for prizes throughout the night. It’s sure to be a great TJMS
family night!

TJMS Fall Fling 2018
Save the Date for the Fall Fling Social coming up on Friday,
October 5th, from 2:00 until 4:00 pm. All TJMS students are invited to attend
this annual fundraising event. The 2018 version promises to be as fun as
ever—with attractions such as a climbing wall, dunking booth, DJ, photo booth,
chance bags, special 8th grade activities and many more. Wrist bands for $10
will go on sale the week of the event. More details to come!

Reagan
High School’s Future Raiderette Dance Clinic
Saturday,
September 22, 2018 8:30am-12pm
Dancers in K-8th
grades are invited to attend. The cost is $50.00 and includes learning dances
taught by the Raiderette team, a t-shirt, pom poms, a snack, and being able to
perform Friday September 28 on the sidelines with the Raiderettes at a Varsity
Football Game!

SPORTS INFORMATION
Baseball Tryouts
Tryouts will resume on Monday September 10th for all 8th grade and 6/7th
graders invited back. Tryouts next week will be at Northwest Forsyth Little
League. Final cuts will be on Tuesday September 11th. There will be an activity
bus running next week for students needing a ride home after tryouts. Students
needing to ride the activity bus will need to get a permission slip from the
front office and submit it to their Coach on Monday. Coach Mark Schnably:

Soccer Tryouts
Monday, September 10th
is the final day of tryouts. Any student invited back needs to attend. Coach Miles

Softball Tryouts
Due to heat restrictions, tryouts
for softball will most likely be from Monday September 10-Wednesday September
12. Tryouts will be held at Regan HS and Northwest Little League depending
on weather. The students will meet their coach in the gym then ride the
athletic bus together to Reagan or Northwest. Tryouts will be from 2-4:00,
students must be picked up at 3:45 at Reagan. There will be no athletic bus
rides home after tryouts.
Golf Tryouts
Golf Tryouts will be on Thursday September 13th. Students
will meet Mrs. Francis in the gym then take the athletic bus to R A's Driving
Range in Pfafftown. Tryouts will be over at 4:00. Students may be picked up at
R A's or at the school, but you will need to send a letter with your student
for Mrs. Francis explaining where they will be picked up.
