GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

THANKSGIVING BREAK
Wednesday, November 21 through Friday November 23!!!!!

NEW IDENT-A-KID!

Now that we are using the Ident-A-Kid system for checking your children out from school (for appointments, etc.), it is required that you bring your driver’s license with you into the building. We need this to scan into the Ident-A-Kid program for each visit.
THANK YOU!

Book Fair

Our Scholastic Book Fair will be open Monday-Friday, December 3-December 7 from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Media Center. Books, posters, gifts and more can all be found at the book fair. Parents, you can find some great stocking stuffers for your kids too.

Also, please consider volunteering to help man our book fair. Please use the link below (CTRL + click) or email triciawalls4020@gmail.com if you would like to help support our Media Center.

Many thanks to those of you who have donated books for our Media Center Spring Used Book Sale in the past. Because of upcoming renovations to the Media Center and lack of space for book donations, we are canceling the Used Book Sale this spring and ask that you please do not send in your used books this year.

What a way to spend a Saturday: Legos and Robots!

The TJMS Robotics Club’s “Jefferson Mad Minutemen Gold Division” attended last Saturday’s FIRST LEGO Robot Run at Atkins High School. The Meet’s outer-space themed activities had teams building towers, solving problems that astronauts might face, showing off their robots, and facing coding challenges.

The Mad Minutemen’s next competition is coming up on December 1st.
The Robotics Club meets after school Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in the Technology room.
