TJMS Food Pantry
Many of you have
heard that we have a Food Pantry Available to our families in need.
Understanding that the government shut down has effected many people locally,
we wanted to make everyone aware that we will have the food pantry open on the
2nd & 4th Saturday every month, from 9-11. Please contact Michaleh Snider (mcsnider@wsfcs.k12.nc.us), Mike McDowell (mmcdowell@ wsfcs.k12.nc.us), or Daniel Bryant (dpbryant@ wsfcs.k12.nc.us) if you need more information.

Give A Kid A Coat Campaign
Jefferson Middle
School will kick off the Give A Kid A Coat Campaign next week.
The coat drive ends on February 9th.
Students, parents,
and staff are requested to check their closet for coats they’ve out grown
or no longer wear, and donate gently used coats to help children in need
stay warm this winter.
Baby coats are
also needed.
The Salvation Army will
pick up the coats and Cleaner World cleans the coats.
The Salvation
Army distributes the coats to people in our community.
The homeroom that
donates the most coats will receive a dessert party.

For
the next two weeks the Fuel Up to Play 60 club is participating in a two-part
event!
Part

non-perishable items for our Food Pantry! The Fuel Up to Play 60 club will plan
a grade level incentive for whichever team brings in the most food.
