7th and 8th Grade Continuing Band students need to bring their instruments both Monday and Tuesday for full rehearsals. Their concert is Tuesday night at Wake starting with 7th grade at 6:30pm.

6th and 7th Grade Beginning Band students need to bring their instruments both Wednesday and Thursday for their full band rehearsals. Their concert is Thursday night here in the Jefferson gym at 6:30pm.**********


Thank you to all parents, friends and families who have already supported this year's PTA Pledge Campaign. To date we've already raised over $19,000, so we're well on our way towards funding more technology for classrooms. If you haven't participated yet, please get involved - your help really matters. Donations received this week all be considered 2015 charitable contributions.

Yearbook Orders are now open. We do not take money here at the school, but you can purchase yours online, by telephone, or by mail.

8th grade baby ads are on sale for the 8th grade students only. Parents, this is a great way to show your child you are proud of his/her accomplishments in middle school. The cost is $25. The deadline for this is December 18 at 2:00pm, the last day before winter break.  NO exceptions.

Basketball Tryouts: Tuesday, December 15 - girls 2:15-3:40pm, boys 3:40-5pm
                                Thursday, December 16 - boys 2:15-3:40pm, girls 3:40-5pm
If you want to tryout make sure you have an up to date physical, concussion form and proof of insurance on file at the school.

This years 2015 Humanitarian Award winner is: Sara Pace
Sara has been involved in many community and service projects. She has played in her church orchestra at several local community events supporting others in our community. Sara assisted several teachers putting their classrooms together this school year and with other various tasks. Sara shows all around great leadership. Sara participated as a tour guide for the 6th grade orientation and is the captain of the cross country team here at TJMS, and is a member of the NJHS. Sara is always willing to help and serve others. Congratulations Sara! Keep up the good work!!
