Annual 8th grade dance "A Night to Shine" ~ January 29, 2016. 7-9pm. Location: TJMS, open to TJMS 8th graders ONLY! Attire: Girls - Dresses or Dressy pants, Boys - Collared Shirt (Coat and Tie Optional) ~ Cost $10 payable at the door with permission slip or prepaid in advance Tuesday and Thursdays at lunch with permission slips.

Congratulations to Gold and Silver Key winners for the Scholastic's Arts and Writing Contest! Silver Key: Heather Chan, Hailey Jones, Elliott Pegram, Madeline Shearer and Kealen Weaver. Gold Key: Reem Ahmed, Andy Li, Emma Morgan, Jaden Orli, Laurin Potter, Caylyn Schell. Honorable Mention: Thomas Burton, Addie Anthis, Andy Li and Lauren Munley.

Congratulations to the 10 students that worked hard and made All-District Honor Band. They competed against students from 52 other middle schools. This is the most students in many years at Jefferson! Michael Angel - 6th, Jonathan Dai - 6th, Aiden Spotswood - 7th, David Sweasey - 7th, Ono Abhulimen - 8th, Jake Bowman - 8th, Kaegon Matlock - 8th, Nick Walker - 8th, Austin Cook - 8th and qualified to audition for All-State, Kahnnor Aplin - 8th and qualified to audition for All-State.
