GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

YEARBOOKS

Yearbooks need to be purchased by February 28^th online. Afterwards, they can be purchased for $40.00 cash only (exact change, please) during the last week of school.

Cookie Dough Orders

Patriots, the cookie dough from our Visual and Performing Arts Fundraiser will be delivered on MONDAY, February 18^th. Students will need to plan to pick up their orders from 2:30-6 that evening. REMEMBER, the cookie dough comes frozen and MUST be picked up ASAP that evening to be placed back in the freezer or delivered.

Candy Grams

The Patriot Pride Committee will be sending Candy Grams at 2 for $1.00 during lunches on Monday, February 11^th and Tuesday, February 12^th.  Your messages and sweet treats will be delivered on Thursday, February 14^th.

High School Choice Period

is Monday, February 11 – Friday, February 22.

This period is to apply to a high school different than your assigned residential high school. Please NOTE that if you are accepted to another (non-magnet) high school, a bus is not provided.

Applications will be available online Monday, February 11^th. This process is first come, first served. Forms should be completed, notarized, and mailed to Central Office.

Our 8^th grade guidance counselor, Mrs. Katie Smith will be visiting 8^th grade classes in the first two weeks of February to discuss the high school registration process.

Don’t forget to check high school websites for upcoming rising 9^th grade and open house events.

TJMS Food Pantry

Many of you have heard that we have a Food Pantry Available to our families in need. Understanding that the government shut down has effected many people locally, we wanted to make everyone aware that we will have the food pantry open on the 2nd & 4th Saturday every month, from 9-11. Patriot Pride Incentive Store

Every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month the concession stand

will be open and run by parent volunteers during team lunches.

Students may “cash” in their Patriot Pride tickets for items.
